Pay Range
$19.00 – $24.00/hour
Summary/Objective
Visits jobsite for planned service and maintenance calls to repair, clean, inspect chutes, compactors and containers. Responds to emergency service calls to diagnose and repair problems with compactors, balers, dock levelers, etc.
Essential Functions
- Interpret job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
- Read and understand electrical schematics
- Diagnose issues with compactors
- Repair and replace parts and products as needed
- Drive and operate company service trucks to visit job sites
- Respond to emergency calls, including overtime and alternating on-call shifts
- Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failure
- Maintain detailed service records and inspection logs
- Conduct performance tests and calibrations to ensure optimal operation
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards during PM visits

Required Education and Experience
