CHUTES’ internal trash chute replacement doors are hand operated hopper type intake doors, self closing, self latching, noiseless, bottom hinged with 1-1/2 hour “UL” label; maximum 30-minute 250° F temperature rise. Entire patented door (front & back panels and skirt) in stainless steel finish with ADA compliant lever handle with lock and two keys. Door includes 2-part deflector hinge to prevent trash from clogging closing mechanism.  MEA Labeled for New York City.

Description

CHUTES’ bottom hinged, trash chute doors are 100% stainless steel doors – front & back panels, sides and skirts.  Our door design includes a complete cover of the closer and piano hinge to protect against debris build-up.  All are 1 ½ hour UL labeled, with ADA compliant handles and are also available with interlocks or hands free ‘wave’ to open options.
