Job Summary/Objective: The National Business and Development role at CHUTES is pivotal in promoting CHUTES products and materials within the construction industry. Working closely with the Sales Manager, this position focuses on driving business growth through effective client engagement, technical support, and strategic relationship management. Key responsibilities include product promotion to dealers and contractors, offering technical expertise, conducting training sessions, and actively participating in market research. This role requires national travel to nurture client relationships, attend trade shows, training events, association meetings, and to overall support sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of construction materials, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and client satisfaction.

1. Product Promotion: Promote CHUTES products and materials to dealers, contractors, and other stake holders in the construction industry.

2. Client Interactions: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide product information, and offer solutions that meet architectural specifications.

3. Technical Support: Offer technical expertise on products, helping clients understand installation methods, performance specifications, and compliance with building codes, and standards.

4. Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops for current and prospective clients about new products, technologies, and best practices.

5. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, designers, contractors, and distributors.

6. Market Research: Actively gathering market intelligence, identify trends, and provide feedback to the company on customer needs and competitor activities.

7. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues related to product performance, installation, or customer satisfaction, and work to resolve them promptly.

8. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop innovative sales strategies, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and closing deals

9. Documentation: Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product specifications.

10. Must be able to travel nationally: This position requires some travel within the United States to meet with clients, attend conferences, and participate in industry events.
