Summary/Objective:
As the Service Department Manager at CHUTES, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring top-notch organization, efficient operations, inventory management, dispatching, scheduling, and billing. Your primary focus will be on achieving customer satisfaction, driving growth, and enhancing profitability while upholding exceptional customer service standards.
Essential Functions:
1. Optimized Dispatch: Prioritize and manage jobs for timely completion and efficient utilization of technicians’ time.
2. Process Improvement: Implement and refine processes and procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
3. Team Development: Train, coach, and manage technicians to continually improve their skills and performance.
4. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of departmental inventory, including warehouse and truck inventory.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of department trucks and equipment for optimal functionality.
6. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager and management team to strategize for departmental growth and identify capital needs.
7. Interdepartmental Liaison: Communicate effectively with other departments to facilitate seamless operations.
8. Cultural Alignment: Uphold and promote CHUTES’ culture throughout the department.

Physical Demands:
Engage in physical activities such as standing, using hand tools, lifting up to 35 pounds, and ensuring safety measures for optimal performance.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time position with regular hours from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional after hours, weekend, and holiday work may be required for emergency calls.
Required Education and Experience:
– Minimum five years of experience in operations or service roles.
– Minimum three years of management or supervisory experience.
