Summary/Objective

In-field installations of internal chutes, compactors, loading dock equipment & postal specialties. Most installations are local (MD-DC-VA), but there is some out-of-town work.

Essential Functions

  1. Meeting the install team at the shop on time, as scheduled.
  2. Assisting with the installation of materials, as directed by the supervisor.
  3. Physical labor – walking/standing, climbing stairs (multiple stories), carrying materials to install (up to 80 lbs.).
  4. Availability for some travel and overtime work.
  5. Clean driving record.
  6. Basic use of hand tools.
  7. Safely navigating construction jobsites.

Education and Experience (Preferred, Not Required)

  • Construction industry experience.
  • Fall prevention certifications
  • OSHA 10-hour cert
  • Forklift certification
  • Ability to obtain DOT card
