Summary/Objective

The Shipping Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of finished goods. This position is responsible for verifying, preparing, and tracking shipments while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Functions

  1. Prioritize safety and follow company values: accountability, integrity, loyalty, improvement, and all-in
  2. Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and stretch wrap banders
  3. Prepare shipments, verify bills of lading, and manage packing materials
  4. Track shipments and update ERP system (M1) with delivery status and issues
  5. Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics
  6. Resolve shipping discrepancies and streamline processes to reduce costs
  7. Ensure packing/loading procedures meet quality standards
  8. Attend daily operations meetings and support cross-functional collaboration
  9. Assist with month-end/year-end shipment accounting

Skills & Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience with ability to work in hot/cold environments
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (M1 preferred)
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to read tape measure and use hand/power tools
  • Forklift certified or able to operate warehouse equipment

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; degree in logistics or related field preferred
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, and transportation regulations
  • Familiarity with scheduling shipments and working with logistics partners
